SLIPPY WOOL

An emulsion developed for slipywools, degreasing during fur – suede production in particular and the prevention of bottom and edge roughing that occurs during pickling, tanning and retannage. It can be easily mixed with water at any ratio and is compatible with other chemicals. It surrounds the small ceratine leaves, decreases attachment and tangling, thus reducing the roughing problems. It particularly decreases the bottom and edge roughness caused by mineral tanning materials during the chrome and chrome retannage process. It makes combing and other procedures at the finishing department easier. Adding to the baths 5 minutes prior to the chrome tanning materials will be convenient. Applied in the mills, fans and mixers at 0,3 – 1,5 g/l in consideration of the water/leather ratio and the wool length. Applicable without dilution.
